• Juan Lubroth – Head, Infectious  Diseases Group / Emergency Prevention System for Tansboundary Animal Diseases, Animal Health Service, FAO
  



Juan Lubroth is currently is Senior Officer, Head of the Emergency Prevention System (EMPRES) animal health component at FAO, Rome, and will become Chief Veterinary Officer on 1 October, 2009. Read more

 

• Jef Hammond – Head, Foot and Mouth Disease World Reference Laboratory




Dr. Jef Hammond is the Head of the World Reference Laboratory for Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) at the Institute for Animal Health, Pirbright Laboratory in the UK. Read more

 

• Luis Rodriguez – Research Leader, Foreign Animal Disease Research Unit USDA / ARS




Luis Rodriguez joined the US Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) in 1997 and is now the Research Leader of the Foreign Animal Disease Research Unit (FADRU). Read more




• Bryan Charleston – Deputy FMD Programme Leader and current GFRA Leader/Coordinator for 2009/2010




Bryan Charleston joined the Institute for Animal Health Pilbright in 1994 where he is now  Program Leader for Foot and Mouth Disease. Read more

 

• Victor Saraiva – Head, Vesicular Diseases Unit, PANAFTOSA/PAHO/WHO




Victor Saraiva is a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine from Universidade Federal Fluminense, Brazil, in 1973; Master of Sciences in Veterinary Epidemiology from Texas A&M, in 1982. Read more

 

• Ronello C. Abila – Sub-Regional Representative of the OIE Sub-Regional Representation for South East Asia




Dr Ronello C. Abila is the Sub-Regional Representative of the OIE Sub-Regional Representation for South East Asia based in Bangkok and also manages the OIE South East Asia Foot and Mouth Disease (SEAFMD) Campaign. Read more

 

• Wilna Vosloo – Research Team Leader at the Australian Animal Heath Laboratory.




Wilna Vosloo is the Research Team Leader at the Australian Animal Heath Laboratory and expert on FMD.  She is currently responsible for managing the Agent Detection Group within the Diagnostics, Surveillance and Response Theme. Read more
