The Selection Process

  2. Acceptance of an abstract will be based on relative merit and the degree to which the abstract meets the aims of the program.
  3. IMPORTANT - All authors are required to conclude their abstract with a few sentences in response to one of the following questions:
    •  How can your topic be applied to the management of FMD?
    •  What is the impact of your topic on the management of FMD?
  4. The criteria for evaluating abstracts includes, but is not limited to, the following:
    •  relevance to the Symposium theme
    •  importance of presentation

  6. Authors will be notified of their acceptance by 16 December 2009.
  7. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Symposium proceedings.
  8. The acceptance of an abstract does not imply funding by the Symposium Organisers or Committee. Presenting authors are required to register and pay to attend the Symposium and Workshop.
